your circle

home has two feeds: your circle and all of naiss.

  • your circle is the feed of your friends, people you've ridden with, people from your university (if you've added it) and people who regularly go to the same places as you. your own posts show up too.
  • all of naiss is the other feed: everything you can see on naiss, not only your circle.
  • to switch, tap the title at the top of home and pick one. you can also press and hold it and slide to the feed you want. every time you open the app, home starts on your circle.
  • you still choose who sees each post, one by one: everyone, friends or only us. being in your circle lets nobody see more, so anyone who isn't your friend and wasn't on that ride only sees the ones set to everyone.
  • between the posts in your circle we show you the people you've ridden with who aren't your friends yet. add them with the +.

common questions

why do i see these people?

because they're in your circle: friends, people you've ridden with, people from your university or people who regularly go to the same places as you.

how do i switch feeds?

tap the title at the top of home, or press and hold and slide, and pick your circle or all of naiss. when you open the app again, you start on your circle.

why is my circle empty?

there are no posts from those people yet, or there's nobody in it yet. if you've ridden with someone, we show them right there so you can add them. to see everyone else, tap see all of naiss. while your circle has nobody in it, the app opens on all of naiss.

do people know they're in my circle?

no. nobody gets a notification for being in someone else's circle.

can i remove someone from my circle?

there's no button to remove someone. if you unfriend someone, they leave your circle unless they're in it for another reason: you've ridden together, you're at the same university or you go to the same places. if you block them, they disappear from your circle and from all of naiss.

who sees my rides?

you choose on each post: everyone, friends or only us. the people on that ride always see it. your friends also see the ones set to friends. everyone else, including people from your university and people who go to the same places as you, only sees the ones set to everyone.
