what naiss is and who is behind it
naiss is a free iOS and Android app that makes sharing rides with your people easy and social: you record the rides, split the costs with no fee and get paid for the energy you save. it is made by Apollo Bros S.L., a company based in Madrid.

what does naiss do?
naiss starts with the rides you already take: to class, to work or to that plan that always runs late. friends first, and people you have already ridden with; then, if you want, whoever is heading your way. every ride keeps who was there, what it cost and what happened along the way.
- journeys: a journey is the record of a ride you take together: the route, who was in the car and what happened along the way. it starts when you leave and ends when you arrive.
- tabs: tabs record what each shared ride cost and split it between the people who were in the car. the tab stays saved until you settle it.
- games: three games for the group already in the car: impostor, icebreaker and wavelength. they open from the journey and each one plays its own way.
- matches and routines: a match pairs your ride with someone else’s heading through the same area at a similar time. a routine saves your usual ride so naiss can prepare the next few weeks of it.
- naiss shots: a naiss shot is a photo of a moment from the ride with the people who were with you. it stays in the feed, where people can like it and comment.
- sparkies: sparkies are what you earn in naiss for sharing a ride, whether you drive or ride along. they come from certified energy savings and turn into euros that go to your bank.
- referrals: you invite someone to naiss with your link or code: you are their maestro and they are your padawan. when their qualifying rides generate sparkies, naiss can add an extra for you.
how does naiss make money?
we don’t charge to connect with people, to share a ride or for tabs between friends. tabs are yours: the money goes from one person to another and naiss never touches it.
when a shared ride qualifies, its energy saving is certified and sold to the companies the law requires to save energy. most of what that earns goes to the people who rode, as sparkies, and we keep a share to run the app and the team. the aim is for that share to keep getting smaller.

who is behind naiss?
naiss is a product of Apollo Bros S.L. (tax ID B19352541), based in Alcobendas, Madrid. the naiss team reads the open naiss community on telegram every day, where naissers suggest ideas, flag what isn’t working and organise rides.
how do we write these pages?
we want what you read here to be true today, not just on the day it was published.
- every page says when its content last changed, and that date only moves when what you read changes.
- what a sparkie is worth is calculated from the same data the app uses, and figures that depend on your account are in the app.
- examples, conversations and balances in the illustrations are illustrative, and we say so. we never publish made-up reviews or testimonials.
- guides list their sources at the end, and community stories are published with the permission of the people in them.
- the naiss team reviews every guide before it is published.
